Someone is cooking a chicken pot pie in the office toaster oven. I suppose it probably takes a while to warm up, but this was at 10:30 am. Chicken pot pies are not things one should wait until traditional lunch hours to eat, apparently.

Take it and eat it.

I eat cold lasagna for breakfast sometimes. Or pork chops. There is no right or wrong here. If I was hung over enough I would eat that thing at 5am

As my stoner uncle says: Chicken pot pie, my 3 favourite things!

Your stoner Canadian uncle.

I've eaten all sorts of non-breakfast things for breakfast. But it tends to happen more at home than at work.

I have a pretty good idea that it belongs to the guy in the office next to mine. He'd be very disappointed.

He is from Scotland actually, but lives more Canadian than most of us.

I just said that because you put a 'u' in favourite. But I guess Scottish would also have the 'u' there.

There's always time for pie (and pasties of course).

Eat it while maintaining eye contact to establish dominance.

This is an office, not a prison yard where you need to stare people into submission for your own survival.

Your office is a lot different than the call center cubicle farm I worked at then.

look at that toaster. Only dual port injection, no display system, shoudy construction. 0/10 would not toast.

that looks so good right now! Also I eat lunch at 11 so starting that around 10:30 wouldn't be too far off.

ignore the nuclear hot gravy for bonus points.

Eat the skin peeling off your bones from the hot gravy to ensure your dominance is never questioned.

Who's going to say a guy eating chunks of his own tongue doesn't have management potential?

Marie Calender's pot pie. 10:30 isn't too early to start heating it. If its frozen it takes 50 minutes to properly heat. The joke is on the them though as if you don't protect the crust edges with foil, they will burn. It's all in the instructions...and as I recall a toaster oven is not recommended.
